  I moved here from Toronto so I thought I'd find a new dentist office that's closer. My first appointment was a very poor experience. The customer experience was nice in the forced kind of way and feels very ingenuine. The cleaning was superficial and disappointing. They took xrays and the whole gambit, assuming my insurance will cover for it, which they didn't because it the yearly cycle wasn't finished. They could've asked for the xrays from my previous dentist. They charged for everything, which they later say they offer for free if the insurance didn't cover for it. I later negotiated for a reduced fee since they didn't bother to ask if I had the coverage or not. I went back to my previous dentist in Toronto because they're professional and thorough. After a year of asking for the xrays which I paid for to be sent to Toronto, the office in Toronto gave up and suggested it's been a year I might as well take new ones now. I wouldn't have bothered to leave review if it wasn't for these xrays, and it seems this office gets very good review I feel the need to balance it a bit. The impression I got on my visit was they were very financially focused rather than providing good service. Their false (my opinion) high rating was what caused me to choose Sciuk in the first place.

  I have been going to Dr. Scuiks office since I was a child, my whole family goes. So when my stepdaughter needed dental work I automatically brought her here. I hadn't been to the office in a couple years, and I was shocked when I arrived with my stepdaughter. The staff did not treat us as they once used to. Noone was very friendly other than the dental assistant, the customer service at the front desk was not very friendly, they didnt even know who we were most of the time and we had been going every week at this point. So we decided to switch dental offices. Well our new dental office had to ask for our x-rays 5 times, finally I had to call, when they finally sent them they only sent my daughters and not mine. This office used to be friendly and caring and now all it seems is that they're money hungry. I'm beyond disappointed with this office.
